Vi vill berätta om en resa för någon där hemma. Ett vykort börjar med Dear eller Hi och slutar med Love eller See you soon. Vi säger var vi är, hur vi reste och vad vi har gjort: We went by train. We visited a castle.

We visited an old castle and it was amazing. Det betyder: vi besökte ett gammalt slott och det var fantastiskt.

Greetings from Scotland

Hi Grandma and Grandad, Greetings from Edinburgh! We arrived on Tuesday after a long journey. First we took the train to London, and then we went by train again to Scotland. The journey took nine hours, but I didn't mind. I read two books and watched the hills go by. Edinburgh is amazing. There's a huge castle on a rock in the middle of the city. Yesterday we walked up to it and saw the old crown jewels. In the afternoon it rained, so we visited a museum about the stars and the planets. My favourite part was a room where you can see how the world began. On Thursday we climbed a hill called Arthur's Seat. It was windy at the top, and my little sister lost her hat. We could see the whole city and the sea! The food is good, but everything is quite expensive. I tried haggis. It was better than I thought. Dad tried it too, but he didn't like it at all. He ate a pizza instead. We're going home on Sunday. I bought you a little souvenir, but it's a surprise. Love, Sam P.S. I miss your dog. Say hello to him from me!
